The whole school eats together (including Mr Stapley) in the hall. Year 6 table monitors help the younger children; and help to clear up afterwards. Children with either packed lunches or school dinners sit side by side with their friends. We all start together (after saying grace) and finish together so there’s no need to gulp down your dinner to get out to play – you won’t get out side any quicker. It may get a little noisy but eating together is a social time too.
Caterlink have an online payment system which you can access here:
The cost of meals is reducing to £2.05 per meal (£10.25 pw) and we will continue to give children meals on the days they are currently receiving them – unless advised otherwise before the start of term. The children in Year R, 1 and 2 will continue to get free meals and we will assume all children in those year groups will have a school dinner unless we are informed to the contrary. An example of the Caterlink menu is attached.
